This role is accountable for the end‑to‑end performance and transformation initiatives within Logistics & Services (L&S) Products in Transported by Maersk (TbM) Operations, enabling safe, high‑quality and cost‑efficient execution. The role provides clear direction setting to the Regional L&S Operations teams and participates in and supports proactive and action‑based performance management based on key operational metrics as well as Operational Excellence efforts. Owns and drives conceptualization and implementation of strategic transformation.
This role directs the planning and delivery of the strategic transformation agenda within the L&S TbM Operations organization. Leads Cross Functional Collaboration and high impact delivery: A core responsibility of the role is to lead the operational elements in the OP (Operating Plan) process.
This includes identifying the most critical enablers of change, prioritizing and scoping technology developments in close collaboration with Platform and Product teams, and ensuring a sharp focus on aligned value realization.
Through a strong cross‑functional collaboration the role ensures that tech solutions are delivered effectively and that this can be translated into tangible business impacts.
Embeds Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: This role challenges legacy practices in a planned and controlled way by designing scalable, future‑fit solutions.
Through strong collaboration with Product, Platform, Regional Operations, and Operational Excellence teams, the role helps operationalize innovation and accelerates the shift to globally consistent execution models.
The role is also responsible for driving operational ways of working grounded in standardized processes, Continuous Improvement (CI) and Operational Excellence.
In close collaboration with key stakeholders this role ensures that transformational improvements are not only envisioned but also delivered, fully adopted and embedded and sustained into daily operations—anchoring them in a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
This role also supports the key Learning and Development initiatives needed to build and grow the strategic capabilities supporting the strategy of L&S TbM Operations.
