Job description

We are looking for an experienced, personable, and highly organised Front of House Manager to join our team. This role is central to the guest experience and requires someone who is confident with guests, strong on administration and able to maintain exceptional standards across the lodge at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests and provide warm, professional meet-and-greet service on arrival
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Book and coordinate all guest extra activities
  • Act as lodge hostess, ensuring guests feel hosted, cared for and attended to throughout their stay
  • Manage and supervise housekeeping staff
  • Conduct room checks prior to guest arrivals to ensure standards are met
  • Supervise laundry operations and maintain quality control
  • Conduct stock takes for laundry and general lodge stock in conjunction with the Executive Chef
  • Manage and run sales of lodge merchandise
  • Collect and manage guest tips responsibly and transparently
  • Host evening duty once per week
  • Conduct regular checks and oversight at Camp
Requirements

Experienced in a Front of House, lodge or hospitality management role.

  • Personable, confident and comfortable interacting with guests
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Strong in administration, with excellent Excel skills
  • Honest, numerate and responsible
  • Able to manage staff professionally and calmly
  • Committed to maintaining high standards at all times
  • Helpful if this person is a horse rider themselves.
