Job Overview

We have an amazing opportunity for a financial manager at a company in the service stations and property portfolio industries based in Durban!

The main purpose of this role is: Oversee and manage the finances of a diversified group operating multiple service stations and a property portfolio. The role involves full financial management, oversight of finance and administrative teams, statutory compliance, and implementation of robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Post-articles commercial experience in commerce / industry (Advantageous)
  • Experience in service station operations advantageous.
  • Strong IT proficiency with multiple accounting packages (including Sage).
  • Oversee finance and administrative staff across various sites.
  • Set up and maintain accounting protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • VAT returns, PAYE returns, payroll administration, and bi-annual PAYE reconciliations.
