Qualifications

  • N6 or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering required.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and electrical principles preferred.
  • Exposure to PLC systems, especially Siemens, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain nursery automation machines.
  • Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and provide client training.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.
  • Deliver on-site and remote technical support.
  • Travel extensively to client sites across Africa.

This opportunity is ideal for a young, ambitious, and mechanically inclined technician who enjoys travelling, problem‑solving, and working with advanced nursery automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • N6 or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and basic electrical principles
  • Exposure to PLC systems (Siemens experience advantageous)
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel regularly
