Job description

The Electrical Projects Manager, reporting to the General Manager, will be responsible for the management and delivery of land-based electrical engineering and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Administration and Support Services – Update procedures and documentation to improve project execution maturity and ISO compliance.
  • Project Planning – Prepare tenders, define scope and deliverables, develop detailed work plans, schedule, coordinate meetings and review schedules with senior management and customers.
  • Project Resourcing – Identify, agree and allocate project staff, contract qualified consultants, orient project personnel and communicate agreed deliverables within the project team.
  • People Management – Perform line manager functions, performance and staffing management, develop contingency plans, succession planning and skills transfer, and create individual staff development plans.
  • Operations and Construction Management – Coordinate operations, enforce LTIFR and TRIR, provide engineering liaison, update schedules, interface with site managers and enforce regular review of the manufacturing and construction schedule sequence and progress.
  • Document Control and Quality – Deliver high quality products and installations, manage quality review sessions, develop stage-gate controls, prepare completion procedures, enforce document control and data storage, and maintain knowledge management processes.
  • Customer and Supplier Satisfaction – Maintain good relations with customers and suppliers, build supplier partnerships, manage expectations through two-way communication, and manage project close‑out and post‑implementation review processes.
Qualifications
