A leading company in testing, inspection, and certification is seeking a Principal Auditor for Responsible Sourcing. The role involves leading audits, ensuring compliance with standards, and mentoring junior auditors. Ideal candidates will have a degree, APSCA training, and experience in supply chain activities, with strong leadership and communication skills.

The Principal Auditor for Responsible Sourcing/Ethical Trade/Social Compliance collaborates with audit teams to plan, prioritize, and perform audit activities, including report preparation, to ensure technical excellence. They are experienced Lead Auditors with in-depth knowledge of market issues and typically master different schemes. They liaise with Program Managers and support local implementation and improvements.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate initiative, effective workload planning, project management experience (desirable), leadership, excellent communication skills (training), and experience related to the product or similar activities. Educational requirements include a degree, recognized auditor training (APSCA), and approval as a second-party auditor or equivalent training. A minimum of two years’ experience in supply chain activities, team management/leadership (desirable), and fluency in English and Afrikaans are required.
Remuneration: Sub-Contractor position.
