Desktop Support Technician

We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our Information Technology team at TreasuryONE. This role requires a dependable and technically competent individual who can provide structured first‑line support in a professional business environment. The position is suited to someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and approaches problem‑solving with care and precision.

The successful candidate will support end‑users across all device systems and applications, ensuring that the IT environment remains stable, secure, and fully operational. The role offers hands‑on technical exposure and the opportunity to work closely with senior IT staff while developing further capability in cloud technologies and modern workplace tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely support for desktop, laptop and mobile device issues
  • Install, configure and maintain Windows operating systems, software and hardware
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Assist with network connectivity, printers and peripheral devices
  • Perform basic account administration, access management and password resets
  • Support endpoint protection, patching schedules and software updates
  • Log incidents accurately within the IT ticketing system and maintain clear documentation
  • Contribute to asset management and upkeep of hardware and software inventories
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members when required
Experience and Qualifications
  • IT Diploma, CompTIA A / N or equivalent certification (required)
  • One to two years experience in IT support or a structured service‑desk environment (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability
  • Clear and professional communication skills when assisting non‑technical users
