A global supply chain organization in Kraaifontein is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee contract management and improve operational efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements while managing teams for optimal productivity. Candidates should possess a degree in Operations Production Management or Industrial Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in production or contract management. The role emphasizes effective communication and adherence to safety standards.

The incumbent will be responsible for the consistent management of all proposals and contracts signed between CHEP and the relevant Service Providers which consists of Pallet / Container / adding the plant administration function will report to the successful incumbent. This will include the oversight of the contract management process as well as adherence and development of specific agreed standards contract negotiations and document management.
The incumbent will be required to manage direct and indirect reports to ensure maximum output at acceptable quality standards without any damage to the environment or injury to the employees.
The Contracts Manager’s role in contract development requires close collaboration with various departments including operations, project management, account management, business operations and finance. Day‑to‑day functions will be professionally managed to ensure employee satisfaction, good communication and that resolution between CHEP management and the Service Provider are achieved.
Ensure that the Operations objectives are supported in productivity improvement; plant and facilities are maintained in line with the best operations practices.
