A leading manufacturing company in Boksburg is looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer to oversee machining operations. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating, along with relevant certification. Responsibilities include managing setup, ensuring quality and tolerances, and participating in administrative tasks related to job planning and quoting. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer, Setter, and Operator.
• Must hold relevant certification.
• Must have recent industry experience (not out of the trade for more than 12 months).
• Must have own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operator setup of timers, feeds, and speeds.
• Ensure machining is within specified tolerances.
• Supervise completion of operator administration (QC sheets, Count sheets, Timers).
• Monitor and perform final job quality checks, and maintain records thereof.
• Participate in pre-planning processes: job card packs, tooling, and equipment planning.
• Assist with quote compilation, including process times and interpreting drawings.

Salary: Negotiable – Starting at R24,000.00 p / m

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer, Setter, and Operator
• Must hold relevant certification

• Must be fluent in English or Afrikaans
• Must have own reliable transport
• Experience with Jobbing and Long Runs essential

Machining Duties

• Oversee operator setup of timers, feeds, and speeds
• Ensure machining is within specified tolerances
• Supervise completion of operator administration (QC sheets, Count sheets, Timers)
• Monitor and perform final job quality checks, and maintain records thereof

Administrative Duties

• Participate in pre-planning processes: job card packs, tooling, and equipment planning
• Assist with quote compilation, including process times and interpreting drawings
• Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and procedures

Workshop Floor Duties

• Manage and oversee Store Room and Tool Room movements
• Ensure machine maintenance is carried out according to daily, monthly, bi-annual, and annual schedules
• Ensure proper administrative records are maintained for all maintenance tasks
