The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients in distress, playing a critical role in processing claims, validating information, and ensuring a smooth and empathetic customer experience that upholds the company’s high standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact for all claims inquiries
  • Accurately capture and register new claims on internal systems
  • Collect, validate and verify all required claim documentation
  • Liaise with assessors, repairers and service providers
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, SLAs and FAIS regulations
  • Maintain regular client communication on claim status

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
  • A relevant insurance-related qualification (e.g., NQF 4 in Short-Term Insurance) is highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in a claims administration or similar insurance role.
  • Familiarity with the South African insurance regulatory environment (FAIS).
  • Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with insurance management systems.
