Care Team Manager Warabrook

Fulltime Fixed Term 6 Month contract

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Care Team Manager to lead and oversee clinical care operations at Warabrook Centre. This role is based in the Memory Support Unit managing 30 residents and staff. The position is Monday to Friday with some shifts starting later to supervise the late afternoon period. Management experience and experience in managing dementia-specific units are required and post-graduate dementia qualifications are preferred. As a key member of our leadership team you will inspire and manage a passionate care team to deliver exceptional care to our residents. With your clinical expertise strong leadership skills and commitment to continuous improvement you will play a pivotal role in ensuring quality care and promoting the dignity and well-being of those we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage care teams ensuring optimal staffing and team performance.
  • Oversee clinical care including assessments, care plans and compliance with best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement through quality initiatives and risk management.
  • Mentor and educate staff to maintain high standards of care and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and relevant legislation.

About You

  • Current Registered Nurse with 35 years of experience.
  • Proven leadership in aged care and complex clinical settings.
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to BaptistCare's Christian identity and values.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Management, dementia, Gerontology or Training and Assessment.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (preferred).

Additional Requirements

  • Availability to work weekends and participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Successful completion of a Police Background Check.

As a well-established centre that supports 153 residents, Warabrook’s trained staff provide kind, friendly and personalised services including respite, palliative and dementia care.

Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance.
