Programme Purpose

The CAPACITI Demand Academy 13 (ADS 8) - Cape Town - November 2025 is designed to equip participants with high-demand digital skills aligned to global and local IT trends. It bridges the gap between foundational IT knowledge and specialised workplace readiness.

Duration: 12 months

Monthly Stipend: R4992 p.m. (Duration of Learnership Programme)

Application Process and Criteria

Minimum Requirements

• South African nationality (Born Citizenship).
• Between the ages of 18 - 34 years old.
• Meet the minimum NQF level qualification: NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience and qualifications in IT fundamentals (advantageous). No prior work experience needed.
• Provide your academic record and certificate of highest academic achievement.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and understanding of IT concepts (Hardware, Software, Networking).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work well in a team and independently.
• No criminal record and a clear credit history.
• Be unemployed at the time of application.
• Able to attend full-time Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00) and commit to the full 12‑month IT Learnership Programme and commit to completing it.
• Must be an EE candidate and preference will be given to Women in Tech and PWD candidates (People with Disabilities).

Candidates will need to:

• Submit application via official CAPACITI portal.
• Select preferred IT stream during application.
• Attend virtual and/or in-person interview.

Placement Requirements

Placement is not guaranteed but CAPACITI will match candidates with our partner companies based on fit. Final interviews and placements are based on stream alignment partner demand and candidate performance.

Additional Notes

This programme is based in Cape Town and requires on-site attendance. Interview dates and IT Streams will be confirmed based on demand streams set by our Placement Team.
