Job summary

A leading automotive company in Sandton is looking for an Assistant Technical Advisor to report to the Technical Manager. The role requires performing high-quality maintenance and servicing tasks, compliance with vehicle requirements, and providing support to dealerships. Applicants should have at least 6 years of experience in a similar capacity, with qualifications including Grade 12 and N3 Motor/Diesel theory. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. Immediate availability is preferred.

Position Overview

Achieve the set-out strategy of your division whilst taking responsibility and accountability for your performance. Achieving Sales and all related logistics regarding the division.

Job Description
  • Perform general maintenance / servicing tasks at the highest level of quality and efficiency.
  • Use of approved techniques obtained from training.
  • Comply to all pre-set manual requirements on any vehicle/engine.
  • Honest and ethical workmanship for customer retention.
  • Undertake related tasks as required, including but not limited to:
  • Support function to service manager when required to offer advice to a customer tech at a dealership.
  • General upkeep of workshop and workstations in COC.
  • Technical support at key events.
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • N3 Motor and/or Diesel Trade Theory
  • Computer literate
Minimum Experience
  • At least 6 years in similar capacity.
