Duties include AR, AP, Inventory, Admin and Ad-Hoc duties.

Qualifications

Experience
  • 5 years' demonstrated experience in accounting
  • 5 years' demonstrated ERP experience
Finance

Preparing and analysing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports in order to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Inventory Reconciliations

Accurately assigning entries to the proper accounts to prepare and submit monthly reports.

AP / AR Processing as needed by Operations for new D system.

Balance sheet Reconciliation of certain GL Accounts

Business Solutions

Preparing forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.

Surveying operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.

Focal point for Vendor on Boarding in Namibia.

Admin
  • Leave processing
  • Payment batch processing
  • Visa applications and focal point for Fleet cards in country
  • New Employees assist with On Boarding process
Audit Support

Prepare for and co-ordinate the internal and external audits to ensure compliance to corporate governance and legislation.

Stakeholder Relations

Provide support, education and training to staff within the finance team and other stakeholders.

Effective relationships in the company and with relevant external stakeholders to deliver on the mandate of the role.
