Candidates should possess a N6 or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering, along with strong mechanical and electrical system knowledge. This position requires travel across Africa to client sites, ensuring excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems is advantageous.

Job description

The After-Sales Technical Service is a full-time, on-site role based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities include delivering technical support to customers, providing training on client systems, maintaining and repairing machinery, and ensuring excellent after-sales service. The role entails regular interaction with customers to address their needs and maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service and maintain client machines and nursery automation equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and client training.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support.
  • Travel extensively to client sites across Africa.
Key Requirements
  • N6 or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
  • Exposure to PLC systems (Siemens knowledge is an advantage).
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel regularly.
