In addition to traditional instruction, the educator will actively integrate entrepreneurial themes — such as persuasive communication, business storytelling, branding and professional writing — into the curriculum. Lessons will not only prepare learners for academic success but also equip them with the skills to thrive as young entrepreneurs, confident presenters and effective collaborators.

Instructional Leadership

  • Deliver effective CAPS-aligned lessons in a specialised subject area.
  • Use varied methodologies to support learners’ academic success.

Assessment and Support

  • Design quality assessments that inform instruction.
  • Provide ongoing learner feedback and intervention where needed.

Classroom and Behaviour Management

  • Create a respectful and inclusive classroom where high expectations are upheld.
  • Promote learner accountability, collaboration, and resilience.

Professional and Parent Communication

  • Communicate clearly with parents and school staff regarding learner development.
  • Attend school functions and professional meetings as required.

Educational Innovation

  • Integrate technology, project-based learning, or entrepreneurial themes where relevant.
Senior Phase Teacher requirements are:
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Senior Phase or relevant qualification plus PGCE (or equivalent).
  • SACE registration and police clearance required.
  • In-depth knowledge of CAPS for the applicable subject(s).
  • Strong planning, facilitation, and learner support skills.
  • Willingness to contribute to co-curricular programmes and school community.
