Job summary
A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant for a 5-day work week. The role involves receiving and checking stock, managing inventory, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Candidates should be physically strong, preferably with prior warehousing experience and knowledge of forklift operations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Physically strong; labor intensive work.
- Prior work experience in warehousing is preferred.
- Knowledge in operating fork lift and stacker is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, verifying and checking inbound stock.
- Picking, packing and checking of outbound stock.
- Stocktake and managing inventory.
- Manage inventory through stocktake and cycle counts.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
- Perform other logistics/warehouse operations as assigned.
Skills
Job Description:
- Receiving, verifying and checking inbound stock as per permit or relevant document
- Picking, packing and checking of outbound stock as per picking order
- Pre-inspect stock or packing condition prior to release
- Stocktake, cycle count and manage inventory
- Maintain warehouse cleaniness
- Perform other logistics/ warehouse operation as assign by warehouse manager
Requirements:
