Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income - APAC Real Estate, Global Fund Manager | Singapore, SG
Our client is a global fund manager with a strong presence in Asia Pacific. The company offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. They areseeking an experienced professional to join its Fixed Income team in Asia Pacific, with the option to be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong. This key role will focus on leading and developing real estate investment strategies, specifically in REITs.
Job Summary:
- Lead and develop real estate investment strategies as a key member of the Fixed Income team in Asia Pacific, focusing on REITs.
- Deliver superior performance in REITs strategies, outperforming peers and benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage REITs portfolios in accordance with investment mandates, special guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal risk management parameters.
- Oversee portfolio performance, compliance, and client requests, ensuring seamless delivery of REITs products.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of APAC Fixed Income on portfolio investment strategies.
- Collaborate with distribution teams to retain and grow Assets Under Management (AuM) in REITs products.
- Foster strong relationships with major clients, delivering key business presentations and conducting regular portfolio reviews.
Experience and Qualification required:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in credit research on REITs, preferably from a sell-side ratings or research background.
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, business or related field. MBA and/or CFA preferred.
- Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Ability to develop and articulate investment process.
- Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all level in organization.
- Ability to take initiative and function independently in a team oriented environment.
