Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Functional Specialist / BA (Core Banking) to join our dynamic team. This role will play a critical role with deep expertise in core banking systems and lending operations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Finacle, Flexcube,H2H, SWIFT and strong domain knowledge in Trade Finance, Lending and CASA (Current Account Savings Account) products. This role will be instrumental in driving requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder alignment for strategic banking transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Consulting & Planning

• Conduct strategic planning sessions with senior client executives, including regional CIO, focused on financial and business initiatives.
• Provide planning and advisory support for large‑scale programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

2. Project Leadership

• Support large‑scale consulting engagements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.
• Drive stakeholder management and executive‑level communication across complex organizations.

3. Business Development

• Support proposal development and client presentations of project launches for strategic consulting opportunities.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding consulting services within existing accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 15-20 years of consulting experience with banking and financial IT clients.
• Proven ability in strategic planning and transformation initiatives at an executive level.
• Exceptional consulting and planning capabilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate sociability and flexibility.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage CIO‑level stakeholders as a peer.
• Expertise in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and regulatory compliance for financial institutions.
