Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to process medication orders and manage inventory. Responsibilities include picking and packing medicines, conducting billing functions, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. Qualifications
- Must have completed a Certified Pharmacy Technician Course (CPTC) or hold a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science.
Responsibilities
- Process medication orders.
- Pick, pack, and label medicines according to SOP.
- Perform medication reconciliation steps.
- Conduct billing functions.
- Provide professional service to patients/customers.
- Review and update inventory levels regularly.
- Oversee storage conditions and expiry checks.
- Plan and conduct cycle counts and stock takes.
Education
Working Hours: Office HOURS only
Job Scope:
- Processing medication orders
- Picking, packing and labeling of medicines in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Perform the following medication reconciliation steps: counting, sorting and typing of prescriptions
- Perform billing functions
- Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers
- Review and update inventory level base on consumption on a regular basis
- Oversee storage conditions, expiry checks, audits and reporting of defects of drug products within the institutions
- Plan and ensure that cycle counts and stock take are conducted accurately and accordingly to the Standard Operating Procedures
Job Requirements:
- Min Certified Pharmacy Technician Course (CPTC) OR Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science
