The ideal candidate should possess a Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and relevant hands-on experience. Qualifications

Technician (Urgent Hiring!)

Working Days: 5 days, Mon to Thurs 8:30am-6pm & Fri 8:30am-5:30pm

Working Location: Commonwealth

Salary: $2,200 ~ $2,600

Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely receipt, storage and issuance of spare parts.
  • Prepare and pack spare parts for dispatch, ensuring safe and accurate delivery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on a wide range of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of spare parts to minimise damage and risk.
  • Assist in quarterly and annual stocktake of all spare parts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the test laboratory.
  • Conducting tests for customers’ products according to the testing procedures and standards.
  • Provide technical assistance in preventive maintenance and minor repairs of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems under the guidance of senior technicians or engineers
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
Requirements
  • Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Hands‑on experience in packing, labelling and coordinating shipments for both local and overseas dispatch.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems will be an advantage.
