Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to assist Project Managers and provide technical support in project execution. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical). This entry-level position requires no prior experience, and offers opportunities to develop technical knowledge and competency.
Qualifications
- No work experience required.
- Entry Level specialized in Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support Project Managers in the execution of projects as part of the project team.
- Provide technical support in various stages of project.
- Prepare schematic design, layout, calculations, technical reports and specifications.
- Liaise with external consultant teams to resolve project issues.
- Supervise and review the work of Assistant Engineers.
- Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues.
- Develop technical knowledge and competency.
Education
- Assist and support Project Managers in the execution of projects as part of the project team
- Provide technical support in various stages of project, including conceptual design, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, contract administration, site meetings, etc
- Prepare schematic design, layout, calculations, technical reports and specifications, etc
- Liaise with external consultant teams, architects, contractors and suppliers to resolve project issues
- Supervise and review the work of Assistant Engineers, Designers and/or Drafters in the project team
- Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues and improvement on design standards
- Develop technical knowledge and competency
- Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
- No work experience required.
- Preferably Entry Level specialized in Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent.
