Primary and Secondary English Tutor (Part Time)
Job summary
A learning center in Singapore is seeking a Part time English Teacher to conduct English webinars and teach classes of 3 to 12 students. Responsibilities include providing feedback on assignments and communicating with parents. Ideal candidates should have a passion for teaching and good English results. Remuneration is $50-$70 per hour.
Qualifications
- Good O/A Level English/GP results required.
- Passionate in teaching and love working with children.
- Pro‑active attitude and a team player.
Responsibilities
- Conduct English webinars and workshops for parents and students.
- Teach English language classes for students from Primary 3 to Secondary 4.
- Provide feedback for compositions and situational writing.
Skills
Education
Part time English Teacher at Ang Mo Kio Centre:
- Degree with good O/A Level English/GP Result
- Some tutoring experience is preferred
- Technical skills and competencies: Proficient in Word, PDF, Powerpoint
- Conduct English Webinars and workshops for parents and students
- Teach English Language classes of around 3 to 12 students
- Students range from Primary 3 to Secondary 4 level
- Be familiar with PSLE and O Level syllabus
- Edit English material, worksheets, PowerPoint Slides
- Mark online PDF homework and physical homework
- Provide useful feedback for compositions and situational writing according to centre’s system when marking
- Communicate with parents for timely feedback to help students improve
- Do video recording of lessons
- Look after the well-being and welfare of the company’s students
- Conduct Lessons Hybrid (online and onsite)
- Sunday 4 lessons (9.30am to 11.30pm), (11.30am to 1.30pm), (2.30pm to 4.30pm) and (4.30pm to 6.30pm)
- Wednesday 2 lessons (5-7pm) and (7-9pm)
- Sunday is fixed, Wednesday is optional
