About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and driven Technical Engineering Section Manager (TSM) to lead our Technical Engineering Section. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing plant equipment performance through efficient Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Shutdown Maintenance (SDM) activities, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring seamless plant operations. As the Section Head, you will lead process enhancements, champion safety and quality, and promote innovative solutions to improve productivity and efficiency. You will also ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
• Take charge of plant equipment and facility Preventive Maintenance (PM), manage the closing of work requests, support equipment modifications, and to plan SDM schedule and activities.
• Responsible for workplace safety and health activities in the Technical Engineering Section (TES)
• Lead and manage equipment related Exceptional Case Report (ECR) reduction and timely closures.
• Ensure full compliance with the company's MS Control Systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage section budgets, manpower planning, and yearly plan.
• Develop and train staff to maintain a high level of competency and performance.
What We're Looking For
• Degree in Automation, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, with experience managing teams.
• Familiarity with ISO certification processes.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage tasks, resources, and manpower effectively.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Solid knowledge of chemical plant operations and safety (ESH) regulations.
• Safety-conscious, quality-driven, self-disciplined, and a role model to others.
