Our client specializes in environmental services, focusing on innovative, eco-friendly ballast water treatment systems for the maritime industry.

Responsibilities:

• Take a leading role in arranging chemical supply operations in Asia
• Inventory reports on chemicals and related equipment
• Periodic chemical equipment servicing, upgrades or replacement
• Ensure all participating personnel are trained and maintain their online certifications
• Communicate and work directly with logistics and storage vendors to ensure on-time deliveries
• Weekly operational summaries
• Track costs and time utilization
• Work closely with HQ to implement and enforce any future safety or operational procedural changes
• Facilitate coordination of resources throughout the region
• Other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business

Requirements:

• College degree or above in a relevant engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of related working experience
• Structured and well-organized approach to tasks with good organizational capabilities
• Working experience in the Marine industry is preferred
• Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• Submit reports, summaries, and documents in a timely manner
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred
