Job description
Join to apply for the BUYER/PLANNER role at Mentor Media Supply Chain Solutions, member of Elanders Group.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing experience for consumables, non-trade and trade items.
- Upload weekly forecast or demands based on real customer orders and review the MRP.
- Review and update Daily backlog shortage report to Sales Admin/Customers.
- Release PO based on correct strategy.
- Make sure PO is submitted for approval and release to supplier after PO is approved.
- Work with suppliers on ETD/ETA.
- Follow up with Freight forwarders/Couriers on moving the shipment.
- Follow up and get disposition from suppliers if incoming materials have defects or if defects are encountered at customer end.
- Work on Monthly excess/ageing reporting.
