Contract Specialist

The hiring company is one of the leading commodity trading conglomerates with a branch in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist traders with the preparation of contract sheets within stipulated timelines.
2. Liaise with trading desk and structured finance team for preparation of contract sheets.
3. Review of contract sheets for the company, and liaise with legal counsel if required.
4. Prepare documents for registration of pledge/collateral.
5. Provision of advice for other law-related issues of company operations.
6. Preparation of monthly report for both Company Management and Shareholders.
7. Liaison with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or higher, preferably Bachelor of Laws.
• At least 2 years of Paralegal experience.
• Knowledge of financial terms.
• Basic understanding of logistics such as Incoterms.
• General understanding of contract requirements for Trading business.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
