Job description

Supervise employees across manufacturing areas to ensure smooth and continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise employees and manufacturing activities related to product production and processes, with technical knowledge of one or more production areas.
  • Conduct performance reviews and address performance issues.
  • Oversee scheduling of work orders and monitor team performance metrics.
  • Ensure staff are properly trained for their roles.
  • Maintain accountability for staff productivity, quality, and training metrics; report progress and manufacturing metrics to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels for all positions.
  • Participate in improvement projects, collaborate with engineering on investigations and corrective actions, and review non-conformance reports with engineering.
  • Perform other incidental duties.
Education and Experience:
  • Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience, including internship or substantial technical knowledge in manufacturing or quality.
  • Experience working with multicultural teams and in the medical device industry.
Additional Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems like JDE.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong collaboration abilities.
  • Understanding of manufacturing procedures and ability to supervise teams.
  • Analytical skills for optimizing line layouts.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Leadership skills, including coaching, feedback, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Ability to promote teamwork and adhere to safety and environmental protocols.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:15 PM. Transport provided at designated pick-up points.
