Operations Supervisor
Job summary
A construction services company based in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations at construction sites. The role involves ensuring high-quality work in line with specifications, managing material requisitions, supervising sub-contractors, and complying with safety measures. The ideal candidate will liaise with various stakeholders while maintaining documentation and good relations with clients. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage site operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all responsibilities of an Operations Supervisor in a Construction site.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced.
- Oversee daily operation at site and supervise operations.
- Ensure timely issuance of material requisitions.
- Control and monitor all sites and materials weekly.
- Ensure compliance with safety measures and programs.
- Report and assist the Director and relevant Personnel.
- Liaise with various stakeholders regarding project matters.
- Maintain good relations with clients and stakeholders.
- Responsible for upkeep of documentation on project matters.
- To carry out all responsibilities of a Operations Supervisor in a Construction site.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections with sub-contractors.
- To oversee daily operation at site. Direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.
- Ensure material requisitions are issued in adequate time to achieve the Construction Programme.
- Schedule, control and monitor all sites and materials on a weekly basis. Ensure all work is completed to programme.
- To ensure that workers comply with all safety measures required. Require to carry out the effective implementation of work safety programme.
- Report and assist Director and relevant Personnel. Fulfil the role of Temporary Works Co‑Ordinator when required.
- Liaise with sub‑contractors, Manager/Project Manager, Site Manager/Agent, and Contract Surveyor regarding cost control, waste management, variations and confirmation of instructions.
- Create and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders.
- Responsible for the upkeep of documentation on project matters Assist to ferry workers to respective sites.
