A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate to grow the APAC Institutional equity business. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and executing trades across global markets. Candidates should have a degree, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English and Mandarin. Entry-level candidates with a keen interest in financial markets are welcome to apply.
Work closely with the Team Head to grow APAC Institutional equity business.
Proactively engage and build strong relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, broker-dealers, ETF issuers
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth through client acquisition and increased trading volume.
Provide all round trade execution services across global equity markets using multiple trading systems.
Implement process improvements to enhance execution quality and the overall client experience.
Provide timely market colour, trading ideas, and research insights to clients.
Liaise with counterparties and back office on account opening, trade settlement and corporate action matters.
Degree in any relevant discipline.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; detail-oriented, able to perform effectively under pressure with a strong focus on teamwork.
Sound understanding in equity markets and macroeconomic drivers.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients).
Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
Certifications in CMFAS 1A, 5, 6, 6A will be advantageous.
Prior experience in institutional sales or dealing (buy-side or sell-side) will be considered a plus.
Willingness to work on public holidays when required.
