Job summary
A healthcare staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a Registered Nurse for locum/contract work. The role involves administering medications, supporting quarantine zones, and performing vital signs screenings. Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in a government acute hospital.
- Up-to-date vaccinations as required by policy.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to patients according to protocols.
- Support quarantine and isolation zones.
- Perform vital signs and parameter screening.
- Assist with blood-taking and basic clinical procedures.
- Provide vaccinations and support swabbing operations.
- Carry out basic nursing care and clinical duties.
- Complete nursing documentation accurately.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

Hourly Rates:
- Weekdays: $32 per hour
- Weekends / Public Holidays: $35 per hour
Transport Allowance: Not provided
- Morning Shift: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (9 hours paid)
- Long Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (11 hours paid)
- 1-hour unpaid break per shift (meals provided)
- Administer medications to patients according to protocols and medication safety standards
- Support quarantine and isolation zones, including working in full personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform vital signs and parameter screening
- Assist with blood‑taking and basic clinical procedures
- Provide vaccinations and support swabbing operations as required
- Carry out basic nursing care and clinical duties in the medical centre
- Complete nursing documentation and administrative tasks accurately
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team within a secure environment
- Registered Nurse with valid practising certificate
- Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in a government acute hospital (e.g. inpatient wards, A&E, ICU, HDU or equivalent)
- Up‑to‑date vaccinations (e.g. MMR, Tdap within 10 years, and Covid‑19 as required by policy)
- Valid BCLS certification
