B+W Builders Private Limited, a leading construction company in Singapore, is seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in the Hougang North-East Region. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.

• Prepare contract documentation, including full set of tender documents, perform quantity take-offs, measurements, and provide accurate cost estimates.
• Manage cost control and cost information throughout the project lifecycle.
• Handle pre-contract and post-contract administration works.
• Assist in verifying and evaluating subcontractor progress claims.
• Ensure timely submission of progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for tendering purposes.
• Liaise closely with site personnel, vendors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met and works run smoothly (e.g. attend tender briefings, site show rounds, and tender interviews).
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in the construction industry
• Proven track record in managing costs and budgets for complex construction projects
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Proficient in using project management and cost estimating software, such as Microsoft Excel and Project
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Familiarity with construction regulations, contracts, and industry best practices
