Jobbeschreibung
Job Responsibilities
- Preparation and assistance to the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in mechanical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for design projects.
- Participation in design progress and coordination meetings.
- Possess previous HVAC engineering experience and be a subject matter expert in HVAC engineering discipline.
- Maintain up-to-date relevant knowledge of HVAC engineering and industry best practices.
- Manage HVAC design contents as assigned.
- Support the senior project team in implementing HVAC engineering strategies and frameworks for designated projects.
- Ensure effective communication of all systems, design information, procedures, and quality standards to subcontractors.
- Hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and professional qualifications such as MICE or MIStructE.
- Review competitors' equipment and pricing references to provide valued engineering and competitive Daikin products.
- Develop bid documents, including project specifications and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist and support project team members in completing projects.
- Determine project budgets, schedules, scope of work, and deploy appropriate staff.
- Study and assess drawings, plans, specifications, and other documents related to construction projects.
- Lead and support engineering personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects.
- Regularly review, assess, and evaluate project execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex project issues.
- Conduct site visits to record project progress against the planned schedule.
- Verify material requisitions and take-off quantities/site measurements.
- Attend site tests and inspections.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health & safety requirements.
- Ensure timely project completion within budget.
- Prepare progress payment claims and variation orders.
- Develop subcontractor award schedules.
- Create project reports promptly and maintain documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
