Our client (Taiwan Logistics Industry) is currently seeking for Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounting to support their expanding business in Singapore.

The role is responsible for developing all aspects of finance and accounting matters to ensure accurate and timely reporting, compliance with statutory requirements including annual audits, and taxes, and maintaining bank relationships and monitoring the cash flow of the Singapore subsidiary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger management, budgeting, compliance, and assisting in strategic planning. This role requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting standards and financial regulations.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Prepare tax filing and yearly declaration (Include VAT、WHT& Income tax)
• Develop and maintain bank relationships and monitor cash flow.
• Coordinate with external accounting firms/tax agents to ensure tax compliance, timely filing the tax returns, and making tax payments.
• Coordinate and manage the annual budget.
• Coordinate and prepare materials for investors'/shareholders' reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports and take corrective actions.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of books and preparation of management reports.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and relevant tax regulations.
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and financial policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and operational performance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA/ ACCA/ CIMA is an added advantage)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting and finance experience.

SOFTWARE

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling abilities.

DESIRABLE

• CPA or CFA holder
• Audit experience in international companies
• SAP experience as a user or implementation
