COMPUTER NUMERICAL CONTROL (CNC) PROGRAMMER
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC Milling Machines, ensuring quality and efficiency in production processes. The role requires experience in metal fabrication and precision engineering, as well as the ability to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot any process deviations. Strong communication skills are essential for maintaining team continuity.
Qualifications
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in setting up tools for CNC Milling Machine operation.
- Experience in maintaining product quality through in-process measurements.
- Background in CNC Milling Machine and Precision Engineering.
- Relevant experience in metal fabrication or the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
- Work according to production plans to maintain operational efficiency.
- Monitor machines and troubleshoot/report deviations.
- Document and communicate to maintain continuity among teams.
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Able to set up individual tools for machine operation in CNC Milling Machine
- Work accordingly to production plans and to maintain operational efficiency
- Able to carry out in-process measurements and to maintain product quality
- Monitor process/ machines and to troubleshoot and report any deviations to respective personnels or to Senior Manager
- Maintain continuity among working teams by documenting and communicating
- Has preferably CNC Milling Machine and Precision Engineering background
- Has relevant experience in the metal fabrication, semi-conductor industry
