Job summary
A staffing agency in Singapore seeks a candidate for a role focused on monitoring and maintaining utility systems and production equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring all utility systems start efficiently, conducting inspections, and managing chemical top-ups and waste disposal. The ideal candidate should coordinate with contractors for maintenance works. This position involves 12-hour shift work and requires reliable performance for operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, operate, and maintain utility systems and production equipment.
- Ensure efficient operation of utility systems and equipment.
- Conduct periodic inspection and preventive maintenance.
Duties:
- Monitor, operate, and maintain utility systems and production equipment
- Ensure all utility systems and production equipment start and operate efficiently and reliably.
- Chemical top-ups for systems like WWTP and chemical scrubbers
- Removal and proper disposal of waste residues
- Replacement of spent chemical solutions in scrubbers
- Periodic inspection and preventive maintenance of all systems and production equipment
- Perform functional checks and monitor key operating parameters, maintaining accurate records.
- Execute primary maintenance programs and promptly identify early signs of malfunction or wear, reporting issues to superiors.
- Coordinate and liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance works, spare parts procurement, and chemical supplies.
- Oversee contractor-led instrument calibration programs for utility systems and production equipment.
