Our client is a globally established financial institution with a major technology hub in Asia. They play a critical role in supporting international banking operations through the development of in-house applications and enterprise-level digital initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation tools, infrastructure components, and CI/CD pipelines to support stable and efficient environments.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure smooth application development, deployment, and operations.
- Contribute to the decommissioning of Kondor+ and the migration of global treasury trading activities to Orchestrade.
- Build and optimise high-performance interfaces using APIs and various data formats (JSON, Protobuf, CIBML).
- Strengthen DevOps practices through improved test management, automated testing, monitoring, and environment management.
- Troubleshoot system issues, implement security standards, and provide Level 3 support across front-to-back treasury operations.
- Stay aligned with evolving capital markets technologies, including trading systems, risk platforms, data analytics, and cloud adoption.
A successful candidate should have:
- At least 5 years' experience with strong C# .NET development skills and solid knowledge of UNIX and SQL-based databases.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and OO design patterns.
- Familiarity with web APIs (REST/SOAP), scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell), and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on exposure to DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Kafka, Elastic Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, and test automation tools like Selenium or Cucumber.
- Experience with capital markets or trading systems, ideally in Treasury or Fixed Income, with understanding of related financial products.
- Added advantage: Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms, microservices, DDD, and general banking systems experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure, learn quickly, and collaborate across global time zones.
