Job description

Job Descriptions:

• Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
• Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for the WSH Officer to close up the report and assist the WSH Officer on incident/accident investigation.
• Responsible for daily checklists are properly documented and carry out mass toolbox meetings once a week.
• Coordination with the relevant site in charge of improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures and compliance.
• Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
• Compiles all relevant reports and records and carries out daily safety inspection
• Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures by MOM Regulations
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior from time to time

Requirements:

• Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes
• Min. 3 years relevant experience in Process and Construction Industry
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
