Job summary

A prominent construction firm in Singapore is seeking a safety officer to ensure the safety and health of construction sites. The ideal candidate will perform safety inspections, advise on compliance with safety regulations, and conduct job hazard analyses. A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering is required, along with 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry. Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in construction industry.
• Registered WSHO and ECO preferred.
• Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an added advantage.

• Perform construction site safety inspections.
• Provide advice and consultation to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with environmental safety regulations, standards and practices.
• Conducting routine systematic safety audit / inspections; Organize training, talk, contest and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site so as to establish a safe and healthy working conditions;
• Attend the site safety audit conducted by Authority and Client’s representative- HDB
• Conducts job hazard analysis to determine safe working practices and engineering controls.

Requirements

• Candidates must process at least Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in construction industry.
• Registered WSHO and ECO preferred.
• Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an added advantage.
