Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee all daily warehouse activities including receiving, put away, picking, packing and dispatch
- Ensure accurate stock management and optimise warehouse layout for efficiency
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery timelines
- Implement workflow improvements to increase productivity and reduce delays
- Ensure proper labelling, storage standards and handling procedures for different product types
Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and annual stock take
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Monitor ageing stock, damage rates and slow moving items
- Generate inventory reports for management review and forecasting
Team Leadership
- Supervise warehouse staff including supervisors, storekeepers and packers
- Plan staff work schedules to meet operational demands
- Provide training on safety, handling procedures and equipment usage
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary matters when needed
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety and Health guidelines in Singapore
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections and regulatory checks
- Oversee equipment maintenance such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Implement safety drills, refresher training and hazard prevention measures
