Job description

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for sorting, picking and packing, and loading cargo to and from various storage locations. The candidate should be systematic and mechanically-inclined. She/​he is also required to work independently and be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment (MHE). She/​he is expected work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish her/his work.

• Preferably with a license to operate a forklift
• Be familiar with various MHEs, e.g., Double-deep reach truck, stacker, order picker and powered pallet trucks
• Loading and unloading cargoes from and to the trucks/containers
• Picking and packing of orders
• General warehousing and housekeeping duties
• Comply with job processes as required for Inbound and Outbound responsibilities
• Adhere to relevant warehouse SOPs
• A team player
• Maintain personal hygiene, safety, health and operational standards
• Any other ad hoc work as and when assigned by his manager
