The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for a talented and versatile Freelance Videographer and Editor to collaborate with us on a project-by-project basis. If you possess a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and a proven ability to shoot and edit engaging short-form social media content, impactful product videos, and polished corporate narratives, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing:

As our Freelance Videographer & Editor, you will be responsible for the full video production lifecycle, from concept to final delivery, for various projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Pre-Production: Collaborating with our team to understand project briefs, objectives, target audience, and desired messaging. Assisting with script development, storyboarding, and shot lists where necessary.
  • Filming/Shooting: Operating professional video equipment (cameras, lighting, audio) to capture high-quality footage on location or in a studio setting, ensuring optimal composition, lighting, and sound.
  • Directing: Providing clear direction to talent (if applicable) and managing on-set logistics to achieve desired visual and narrative outcomes.
  • Editing: Expertly editing raw footage into compelling final videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
  • Post-Production: Incorporating graphics, motion titles, music, sound effects, colour grading, and mastering audio to enhance the overall production quality.
  • Asset Management: Organising and archiving project footage and assets efficiently.
  • Feedback & Revisions: Incorporating feedback constructively and delivering revised edits promptly to meet project deadlines.
Content Specialisation:
  • Short-Form Social Media Videos: Creating dynamic, attention-grabbing videos optimised for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
  • Product Videos: Producing engaging videos that highlight product features, benefits, and usage in an appealing manner.
  • Corporate Videos: Developing professional videos for internal communications, company profiles, testimonials, or event highlights.
What We're Looking For:

Experience: Proven experience (minimum of 2 years preferred) as a videographer and editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in short-form, product, and/or corporate video production.

  • Portfolio: A compelling online portfolio or showreel showcasing your technical skills, creative vision, and range of work.
  • Storytelling: A natural aptitude for visual storytelling and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging video content.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to adapt filming and editing styles to suit different platforms, project types, and brand guidelines.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to discuss project requirements, provide updates, and articulate creative decisions effectively.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Videography: Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting techniques, audio recording, and cinematography principles. Access to professional video equipment is a significant advantage.
  • Editing: Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Graphic/Motion: Basic knowledge of motion graphics (e.g., After Effects) for titles and simple animations is a plus.
