We are expanding and we are looking for a strategic, adaptive, and results-oriented Editor/Videographer! You are required to possess an exceptional level of both technical and creative abilities to be able to effectively create the vision creatives. This candidate should be well-versed in the latest Instagram and TikTok trends and enjoy creating and experimenting with content styles that are unique and innovative while keeping in mind the values and vision of the brand.

As an Editor/Videographer

• Lead creative composition of moving visuals and motion graphics to tell a story as required with minimal supervision
• Create original video content
• Adapt and localise international content for various platforms with assets for social platforms being a key requirement.
• Must be able to edit without storyboards or provide your own interpretation of an offline edit
• Deliver projects to a high standard within specified time frames
• Export, compress, and re-format video files
• Stay up to date with current moving image trends
• Contribute to creative solutions within the post-production unit
• Able to work independently and also be a team player.

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Media or Film from technical college / university
• Minimum of 3 years as an editor for short-form content
• Adept with CapCut
• Adept with Premiere Pro and experienced with the full Adobe Creative Suite including knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator
• Compelling portfolio of work
• Understanding of encoding/transcoding, codecs, video formats, file types, frame rates, resolutions
• Sound knowledge of shooting on a mobile phone as well as broadcast equipment including video cameras, audio gear, and lighting
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and able to balance projects and priorities independently.
