Join our Global Valuations and Portfolio Analytics (GVPA) team, which independently oversees and coordinates all aspects of our portfolio company valuations for Real Assets in Macquarie Asset Management. In addition to valuations oversight, the team provide commercial analytical support for our senior fund leads. You will focus on the Asia-Pacific region and help ensure robust valuation assessments, compliance with local and international standards, and support business objectives through robust portfolio analysis and valuation reporting.

You will be responsible for supporting the valuations process in-region on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, including coordination and engagement with external valuers and asset management fund leads as required. You will provide oversight and critical review of all asset-level valuations, challenging assumptions constructively and maintaining consistency across regions and sectors.

Supported by the wider GVPA team, you will manage valuation models at both asset and fund levels, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with IFRS and regional regulations, and timely submission and approval of valuations. You will also be responsible for conducting portfolio and fund-level analysis to support strategic decision-making, including scenario planning, stress-testing, and evaluating the impact of potential transactions, while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

In addition, you will champion collaboration and governance by presenting valuations to Valuation Committees, managing third-party relationships, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and organisational objectives.

  • 7-9 years’ experience in financial product valuations within the asset management or investment management industry
  • Proven ability to operate across multiple APAC markets, with strong exposure to key markets such as Greater China, Taiwan and Singapore
  • Demonstrated track record in portfolio management across multiple assets and companies, and investments within renewable energy and digital infrastructure sectors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, with professional certifications such as CFA an advantage
  • Exceptional analytical skills, deep understanding of valuation methodologies and hands-on experience in developing robust financial models.
