A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to maintain general ledger accounts, prepare financial statements, and manage the month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational corporation, with a degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong financial reporting knowledge is essential for this role.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting
Support the preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries
Provide overall support to the implementation of new accounting systems and finance processes
Ensure comply with company policies, practices and procedures, GAAP, and SOX standards
Ad hoc duties as assigned
Bachelor in Accounting or Finance, ACCA or equivalent
At least 3 - 5 years of accounting experience, preferably from MNC environment
Candidate with prior external audit experience will be advantageous
