Our client is a global US MNC in the IT industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Trade Compliance and Shipping Executive be part of their Trade Compliance Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East Area - easily accessible.

Responsibilities of Trade Compliance and Shipping Executive:

  • This role combines Compliance and Export Shipping responsibilities, focus on ensuring regulatory compliance and managing international shipment operations
  • Ensure all shipments comply with global import/export regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Oversee export licensing processes and maintain accurate product classification data (e.g., HS codes).
  • Collaborate with regional teams and customs authorities to resolve compliance-related issues.
  • Support US re-export regulations and assist in shaping regional compliance strategies.
  • Manage ad-hoc supply chain issues and contribute to value-added service initiatives.
  • Coordinate international shipments with warehouses and freight partners to ensure timely delivery.
  • Investigate and resolve freight issues, including delays, damages, and rate discrepancies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all carrier-related matters.
  • Lead or support cross-border logistics and shipping projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, trade compliance, or a related field.
  • Minimum diploma in any discipline
  • Prior experience working with freight carriers.
  • Knowledge in international trade regulations.
