Job summary

A leading infrastructure company in Singapore is looking for a technician to assist in the operation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems. Key responsibilities include monitoring system performance, maintaining equipment logs, and supervising maintenance works. Applicants should have relevant qualifications and at least 2 years of experience in solar systems. The ability to work at heights is essential, and electrical certifications are advantageous.

  • Maintain and update equipment logs, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements.

Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Assist the Engineer in manning the solar photovoltaic (PV) system operation and maintenance
  • Monitor and analyse system performance and CCTV operations from Operations Centre
  • Report/ record defects and alarms during operations
  • Maintain and update equipment logs, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements
  • Carry out routine tests and inspection on the solar systems
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on system fault and monitoring equipment
  • Supervise externally sourced maintenance
  • Supervise maintenance works and ensure its compliance to all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to travel to sites to provide technical support to clients
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in a related field
