Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance efficiently and effectively for process and utilities equipment and building facilities.
- Coordinating and ensuring the quality of work carried out by external and internal contractors are as per Sanofi requirement.
- Possess basic maintaining and servicing of rotating equipment such as glasslined reactor agitator, centrifuge agitator, dryer atomizers, pumps and similar equipment.
- Possess basic maintaining and servicing static equipment such as heat-exchangers, vessel, valves (different type of valves) and similar equipment.
- Possess basic skill in performing the following speciality tasks: vibration analysis tool; eddy current tester; glasslined reactor spark test; thickness testing for reactors and columns.
- Responsible for notifying immediate supervisor in a timely manner on deficiencies or anomalies observed during maintenance; closure of corrective maintenance workorders in CMMS; retrieve data for regular workorder analysis.
- Play a pro-active role in ensuring the HSE standards & Life Savings Rule are adhered to.
- Embrace Zero Incident Mindset and adopt the responsibility of HSE protection policies and Life Saving Rules (LSR).
- Practice safe engineering operation and ensure all HSE procedures are followed. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
About You
- Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Mechatronics with 3 years of hands-on experience in process equipment, utilities equipment and building facilities; Diploma holders will require at least 1 year of similar experience.
- Must have relevant experience especially good in rotating equipment such as pump, agitator, reactor, centrifuge, dryer.
- Knowledge of utilities like boiler, chiller, compressor and AHU will add value.
- Possess HSE procedures such as Work at Height, Confined Space up to Supervisory level and LOTO.
- Possess good understanding of safe working practices preferably from pharmaceutical, petroleum or fine chemical industries.
- Basic knowledge of equipment (especially rotating equipment, air-compressors, steam boilers, air-conditioning systems, chillers, etc.) and their principles of operations and maintenance regime; ability to read Piping & Instrument Diagram (P&ID).
- Must be conscientious, dedicated and a good team player.
- Certified Class 2 Boiler Attendance Certification and above will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required.
- Good knowledge in cGMP and cleanroom working environment and requirement.
