Job description

We are seeking an experienced systems engineer to support and enhance the infrastructure powering our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Ground Control Systems. You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of mission‑critical environments, managing virtualized systems, networks, and automation for real‑time UAV operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve infrastructure supporting UAV ground control systems.
• Ensure system reliability, cybersecurity, and performance in real‑time control environments.
• Manage VMware environments, Windows & Linux systems, and core Microsoft services (AD, DNS, GPO).
• Configure and maintain enterprise networking, including L2/L3 protocols, switches, and FortiGate firewalls.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and resilience across systems and networks.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with:
  Active Directory (AD)
  VMware and/or other virtualization platforms
  Cisco networking (CCNA‑level knowledge or certification)
  Fortinet firewalls and security solutions
• Knowledge of VLAN configuration (good to have).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, or similar) will be an advantage.
