The Supply Chain Business Partner is responsible for end-to-end purchasing, supply planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination for Singapore and overseas markets. This role acts as a strategic partner to commercial, finance, and operations teams, ensuring optimal stock availability, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the supply chain for agency and trade wines.
Job Description – Supply Chain Business Partner
- Drive the overall management of purchasing process for Singapore and overseas markets.
- Develop and update purchasing calendar with forecasted collection dates based on wine releases.
- Prepare Demand & Supply forecast for Trade Agency wines.
- Update trade par level for drawdown based on depletion.
- Maintain global available-for-sale stock report and ensure availability of stocks to fulfil sales orders.
- Review ageing report and highlight slow moving stocks monthly.
- Pricing of new wines and update trade catalogue pricing.
- Review pricing monthly to ensure relevance of pricing in accordance with the market value.
- Prepare Agency Brands’ business review reports.
- Review GPM report and identify non-performing SKUS and agency brands.
- Manage freight arrangements for shipments out of France.
- Manage overseas bonded warehouse inward and outward movements, including those of international trade.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of overseas warehouse physical stock quantities.
- Support overseas markets’ purchasing, freight and local logistics functions.
- Hands-on in purchase order management including creation, review and closure of open purchase orders not required.
- Negotiate with suppliers to align purchase order quantities according to committed sales orders/ demand.
- Ensure purchasing and shipping documentation are in adherence with prevailing regulatory requirements.
- Develop a culture of collaboration and accountability within the supply chain function.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and continuously drive improvements in operational efficiency.
- Perform any other duties or projects as assigned from time to time in support of business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics, preferably within wines, spirits, FMCG, or luxury goods.
- Proven experience managing international supply chains, bonded warehouses, and overseas logistics.
